We have an opening for a highly capable engineer to provide technical support to our sales group, develop preliminary furnace systems designs, prepare proposals for customers and technical specifications for our engineering group and direct estimators on projects.
The ideal candidate will have several years of quality experience in a similar environment, will be able to deal well with people including excellent written and verbal communications, will relish the fast paced work place of a custom capital equipment company, will be able to complete complex projects on time and will have superior technical skills related to mechanical and thermal systems.

Electrical Engineers enhance our capabilities in the area of design, programming, configuration and testing of PLC based machine controls for automated furnaces plus power distribution, schematic/wiring designs and electrical testing.
Candidate must have general design and implement experience with power circuits with line voltages in the 220 - 600 VAC range. Must also have experience with designing circuits with SCRs for electrical heating systems. Knowledge & experience with motor control centers (MCCs), industrial circuit breakers, and transformers also a must. Experience with NFPA standards and European Low Voltage Directive a+. Candidate should have working control of automation control & PLC logic. Willing to travel-both domestically & internationally for system start-ups & troubleshooting if necessary.

Responsibilities include performing system and component level thermal analysis, mechanical design of high temperature thermal processing systems, selection, testing and integration of suitable materials for the design of novel high temperature systems as appropriate to the process, designing and or validation of large scale fabricated steel assemblies, electrical power control systems, industrial instrumentation and automation systems.

The scope of the responsibilities encompasses all aspects of engineering from mechanical to electrical and instrumentation. Responsible for the technical integrity of product from design concept to final product. Provide leadership associated with running project on time and within budget.
BS ME required; MS preferred. 5-10 years relevant exp working in OEM environment. Must have in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering design and heat transfer and other kiln design issues, such as high temp (1200-3000 C) materials. The Senior Process Engineer Provides broad-based design and process expertise and leadership to large OEM projects, in particular those that have high process content. The scope of the responsibility encompasses all aspects of engineering from chemical/materials to mechanical and controls. Responsible for all testing and reporting required post-sale by engineering department. Responsible for the development of PFDs and P&IDs. In addition, the Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for leading projects, developing innovative, optimal designs, and writing clear concise reports.
MS ME or ChE required; 3-5 years experience with talent for spreadsheet design/ heat & material balance. Knowledge of heat transfer & other kiln design issues a+.

PC Support/Software Programmer PC Support/Software Programmer provides assistance in the general support of computer systems and software, assisting users with problems, perform system backups and recovery, develop new software applications. This individual will provide technical and project management leadership for custom high temperature furnace systems. Successful candidate will have capability to create or improve designs and develop engineering solutions for complex design issues as well as ability to effectively direct designers using AutoCad, co-ordinate other engineering disciplines, communicate with internal and external customers and meet project objectives. Requirements include exceptional technical problem solving skills with minimum 5-10 years relevant experience including high temperature materials and leading the designing and project execution of similar equipment in an OEM or engineering consulting environment. A BS ME or CHE is required and an MS is preferred. Some travel is required.
