Design and engineering:
Using advanced Computer Aided Design (CAD) design systems, a Harper engineering team specializing in your industry will create the optimum design to suit your needs. Atmosphere capabilities include air, inert or reducing environments. Electric resistance heating elements, plasma, and combustion systems incorporating gas, oil, or other fossil fuels are used. Total turnkey systems are also available.
For new applications, Harper will assist in conducting engineering studies to determine equipment requirements and help you define process parameters for optimal equipment design.
Systems automation:
Harper continuous furnaces and kilns employ PLC based automation sequencing control. An advanced operator-interface system featuring high resolution color graphics and Windows® based software enables simple control of temperature, alarm management, thermocouple linearization, program recipe storage and retrieval, archiving of data and interface to central control systems.
For many customers we also design semi or fully automated materials transport systems to optimize handling efficiency. Control/monitoring software is incorporated into newer systems.
