Harper is proud to announce that United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued US Patent number 9,255,733 entitled “Oven for Fiber Heat Treatment”. The patent is for the process of maintaining consistent airflow within and outside of the tube while processing gasses. The primary air distributed inside of the tube is not affected by the secondary air that circulates around the tube, keeping thermal uniformity within the tube.
“This oven was designed to be easy and safe to use for new entries into the marketplace. Harper is able to change the airflow direction so that we can have down flow and center to end flow throughout the process”, states Renee Bagwell Ph.D, Senior Process Technology Engineer at Harper International.
