ORNL Carbon Fiber Technology CenterVisit Knoxville this December 9-12 and see Harper’s one-of-a-kind Pilot Carbon Fiber Line at Oak Ridge National Laboratory at the 2013 CompositesWorld Carbon Fiber Conference. This flexible and versatile line is the highlight of the 4-day event which concludes with a detailed facility tour.

The Harper designed line supports ORNL’s Low Cost Carbon Fiber research and technology transfer, with a focus on operation under multiple precursor platforms. The facility aims to be a collaborative research center and is designed as one of the most sophisticated and capable lines in the industry.  Harper was selected for the contract due to its capability to successfully design, manufacture, install, and commission a fully integrated carbon fiber process line.
